Today's Entries Top 5 April 2000 Entry 52: In order to get back at my little brother for years of playing tricks on me, I am going to wait until we are home alone and rig up the house to scare the living hell out of him. Ii will set up an Xcam in his room so that I can view him from my room! then I will remotely turn on his radio and have it play a boy-band song really really loud!!!(which he hates) then I will set off a second hidden radio under his bed that plays a scary grown. when he goes to look under his bed the motion sensor I put under there will activate a mechanical arm that try's to reach out and grab him! as he runs out of his room another motion sensor placed right outside his door will shut off all the lights in the house and turn on the strobe lights. he always runs into my parents room (being a place of security) well, this time I will have another motion sensor set up so that when he opens the door, the cardboard cut out of Dracula (which I got from blockbuster) will drop down from the ceiling. that will send him running into my room where I will end the charade and tell him that I did it all! ha, finally a chance to get back at him! but I can't do this without the $500 spree, so please help me out and vote for me-- Tim Dietrich
Entry 54: I own 3 different x10 cams ----1. Xcam anywhere that is installed out side my apartment keeping a watchful eye on my new truck. ----2. xcam2 which is installed in my storage locker in the basement of my apartment building. this cam has uses two fold, one it watches the contents of my storage locker on a daily basis, two I have a small hole in the door that faces the laundry machines, I position the cam on a platform looking though the hole to watch my laundry so it doesn’t get stolen. ----3. Entry 39: use it to monitor your front yard! I was tired of cleaning up pet leavings from some mysterious inconsiderate neighbor. so I just used the xcam2 and the xray software to monitor the yard 24 hours a day. it even detects motion so I only had to scan through when people passed my yard! it nabbed the guy leaving his pet droppings on my yard the first day. now i've got a clean yard and a cozy, secure feeling. Entry 48: my wife hates to leave our dogs while on vacation. so what I plan on doing this year is to setup a couple of the xcam2's around the house and broadcast the video back to my pc and out on the internet via the free version of Real Video server that can be gotten from real.com all I have to do is take the laptop on vacation with us, connect to the internet and viola! she can check and see how the dog's are doing anytime! -- Rick roberts
Entry 81: when I receive my Xcam with the battery pack I plan on on putting it in the fridge to see if the light stays on or goes off. once I resolve that great mystery I'm going to put it in the dryer and find out where all the missing socks go.
